RATHER BE FISHING

I am Mitel certified and qualified to work on these systems but have not worked on this system in over a year. Your glib response should be more pointed at the "trunk slemmer" who does not belong on these forums than a fellow professional (if you are one).

I was hoping for someone to be able to simply point me in a more explicit direction than to just look in the manual.

I returned to our shop and I have consulted the manuals as per your direction, examined the programming and still I am asking the question because forwarding the attendant is still not covering to the voice mail on no answer.

Now, if you are willing to offer some assistance it would be greatly appreciated. If not, than please be kind enough to not be terse in your responses.

These calls are to a DID number that starts at the voice mail.

A caller presses 0 to go to the operator. The voicemail transfers the call to 2311 the operator extension number.

Form 19 has a differend Day and N1 steeing. There is only one console on the system.

Any thoughts why it is not going to the voicemail?

Thank you for your help.

I would not bet on on a great response to your question based on your attitude. My response was appropriate for someone who said they didn't have the manuals on site and apparently not available at all. Sorry can't help you as I am out of glib responses. Good luck.

Verify cos 107 on and 705 off for console. Verify dial 0 is routed to a LDN. Test from station and trunks. Let us know what works and what doesn't.

It's been a while but what you might want is a COS option for 'timeout to night service'. Calls ringing to a day LDN can switch to the night answer destination(usually VM).

When I differentiated the Day and N1, The coverage started working. Any ideas why that would be?

I works now.

Mickey,

Couldn't resist the bait. I don't know if anyone here can answer that, but from my years of experience, I am quite certain that is is not condition #1. Anyone else want to try?
