I recently replaced a card on the mitel because a port had died. Well what ever happened, killed the same port on that system, but the card I ordered had extra ports. I moved the extension that was on the dead port to a new port. I programmed exactly the same as before. Now the person can recieve calls not a problem. She can even pick up line and dial 0 and get the operator, but she can't dial a room or press 9 and make a call out. All she gets is a busy signal. Ideas?

Also problem. They can't make a wake call when they program it, it ends up going off 40 minutes late. IDEAS? Thanks

Well it could be a "split pair going to the room or one side of the cable pair is bad going to the room - I've seen those kind of problems. that is assuming that you reprogrammed the port for the exact same COS as the other room exts. I am also assuming that the wake-up calls are being set from the console. Try resetting the time in the system and see if that doesn't clear the problem. Also make sure that call block is not turned on and htat the message register feature is set to 0000

When she dials "0", use the console display to confirm we're all talking about the correct ext. number.
Which method are you using to restrict outgoing calls?
Are the wakeups being set from the console, or thru a voice mail.
Be sure that all of the "cloks" involved are set to the proper time. If the wakeups are always delayed by 40 minutes, one of the clocks has to be set improperly.

Thanks for the help guys. The fix was a trunk bar. The simplest and easiest solution to a problem I should have been able to remember. Unfortaly I went off the info the user gave that they had already checked the room in and allowed calling features. ARGH! Thanks again.
