Not sure where else I would post this so thought I would try here. Does anyone have a copy of the current Marriott Courtyard Brand standards (I have Sheraton) which would normally cover many things including telephone and HSIA requirements.
Thanks

Don't know about now, but 10 years or so ago, I installed a Mitel EL sold by Mitel sales division in a Marriot Courtyard in Wichita, KS. 2 ext's/room. Only speakerphones in room/suite. Private network that allowed dialing Franchise HQ, as well as other M/C's. Several rooms equipped for visual/hearing handicapped, including TTY terminal. And TTY terminal @ Front Desk. 2 SS's as subattendent @ front desk, as well as Superconsole 1000. PM me w/phone number and I'll call after 6PM Tuesday. I'll tell you all I remember, including trunk oddities, partitioned T1, etc. Suggest having a recorder ready. John C. (Not Garand)

Don't know about Marriott but recently reviewed Hilton standards for a bid and the Majors tend to follow the same patterns.
Be careful not to make any assumptions about wiring standards and hope that the Architect/GC hasn't either. As of July 2007, all voice and data cabling in Hilton new-builds has to be CAT6 standard.
Why you ask? ...*drumroll*... to be prepared for the bright new future of VoIP!! :bang:

Harry, a *rimshot* would have been an appropriate ending, in more ways than 1. John C. (Not Garand)

While I know that all are basically the same there are differences - as I said I have the Sheraton standards but can't assume that all is the same.

Wasn't trying to be specific... just pointing out that the IP guys are in charge of the hospitality market too, now... with all the fun that holds for the future.
I take care of a Fairfield Inn so I'll check with the GM and see if I can get any specific Marriott info for you.
