Ahhh the TCX 128---I have one still in my basement somewhere---about 6 years ago was the last time I tried to do anything with it. Actually the programming is sort of fun but you have to program with a WYSE terminal --or, I think you can do it with hyperterminal on a laptop. In fact, I think that's the way I did it the last time. Be prepared to spend some time--there really is no easy way to tell a person what to do---a series of 1's and 0's are entered ---if I remember correctly---there are hex charts that have to be followed. Can't really be done without the manual.

JWRacedog is correct, I always used a WYSE terminal and it's done by setting the features with 0's and 1's for off and on (1=on and 0=off) you will need a manual to figure it out but it's not really all that hard when you have the manual with the entries and explanations. Go to the link that test-ok posted and get a manual. Like JWRacedog said it's something that just can't be told as it would be to confusing for you. And it's been to long for me to remember.

We used a silent 700, and I think I still have it. LOL
I don't like to throw anything away, might need it someday. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

The tcx system in its day was a living nightmare, overheating p/s's.
station cards popping, cpu's going dead.

This system still causes me lots of stressful nights when I lay in bed..........
