The system administrator has the passwords to get into admin. From there they can reset that mailbox password back to default. Then you can get into the mailbox using that default password.

The procedure is thus: [Feature] 983 [password] OK on the display. The left choice on the screen is MBOX, press that and you will see ADD DELETE CHANGE.
Press CHANGE and dial the mailbox extension. The first option is RESET PASSWORD. Hit that and it resets the password to the default [password].
You can now log into into the formerly locked mailbox using [password] , it will make you change it and you can do whatever you want in the mailbox.
No one can post passwords here, hopefully you know it.

Surely you have someone at your company that is in charge of administering the mailboxes? Who ever adds new mailboxes for you will have this password.
It is also in the user manual and/or cd that came with your voicemail unit (providing that the administrator hasn't changed the default one).

I'm the new administrator at my office and I have the manual and passwords, but none seem to work for Feature 983. The previous employee is no where to be found.
I tried changing the administrator password in Feature **xxxxx, but when i reset it, it still didn't apply to the VM log password.
How do I reset the Log Password?

For future reference, new questions should be posted by creating a new topic. There is a "Post New Topic" link at the top of the page. the original poster of this thread may have email notices turned on, meaning that he/she is getting unwanted emails for every post to this old thread (sorry brwyatt). There is a simple procedure for resetting the password you are after. However, we won't allow the steps to be posted in the public forum, as they could be used maliciously against your system, my system, or any of the systems that we support. The more complete your profile is, the better. But, for the answer to this one, you can send me a PM (private message) with a verifiable WORK email address and phone number.
