Customer has a cordless phone they want to utilize with their Nortel 3x8 with early software around 96'. I defaulted the system to get it recognize the ATA2 adaptor.
The problem is the transferring of calls between the cordless phone and digital sets.
Call park codes do not seem to be available and I can not program an actual transfer button.
Question is: What is the best method to get calls between the digital phones and cordless.
thanks for any help.
Doug

On early software DR1 there was no transfer and the way around this was to use the Conference feature and then have the person who started it drop out and the call would be left with the ata - cordless phone.

"Around 96" might be a DR5. Can you "Transfer" between the digital sets?
If you can, you'll be able to transwer to the ata, assuming all the programming is done.
I believe Call Park should also work, but you have to program the ata to have TWO intercom buttons assigned with the Prime set to intercom. When it rings, hit the "On" or "Talk" button and dial the Call Park code "101" or whatever.
You can't program a "Transfer" button on the cordless. To go from cordless to digital...Flash or Link, *70, then the extension number.
