I have a customer that wants a petite cordless phone - cell phone sized - that doesn't require a headset to use. No significant distance requirement - 50' tops within standard commercial construction. Suggestions?

I don't get involved in selling cordless . dont sell them , don't recommend them

I always suggest customers go to the office supply stores and get there own cordless . I explain to them that that falls under consumer electronics which I really don't get great prices on .

besides cordless phones are prone to problems and I would prefer they deal with office, depot , best buy rather than me ..

If you feel obligated to supply one I would go to the office depot/max / staples / circuit city / wll mart/ best buy sites and see what its offered

The Sanyo CLT-E40 is a nice small phone. It's also a speaker phone, which is kind of rare on cordless, especially for it's size. Really good on battery life too.

I had a customer order one through Dell computers (they were distributing them here in Canada). I just did a Google for it and I'm starting to wonder if it's even available in the States. All the sites that came up seem to be Canadian.

Thanks for suggestions. We normally dont' fool much with cordless phones, however some customers are willing to "make it worth our while" to take care of everything telecom for them. We're happy to oblige. Twisted pair - I think you're right about CLT-E40, looks available in Canada only. Ended up ordering a Uniden ELT-560 which looks like a cellular flip-phone. We'll see how it goes...

The ELT-560 looks like a good phone. Uniden seems to have the quality too.

Our staples sells one that is like a color flip-phone with an answering machine base, and it's expandable. Really a neat unit, not sure of the product number/name. If you are interested I'll look it up.
