I just inherited a customer with a Nortel VOIP phone system. There is a BCM50 with a BES50GE-12t. THe phones are not connecting and keep getting "DHCP parse error" and then"server unreachable". I can get into the BES50 but not the BCM50 because none of the phones are working and I don't know the IP address of the BCM50. Any help will be greatly appreciated. :bang:

Had to power down BCM50 for about 5 mins and when it came back up so did the phones. Customer said this is the second time in 2 days that the phones died and required a reboot. Any suggestions? Or a link to a manual?

Manual links at the top of the page. Barring that, there should have been documentation left with the unit when installed.

You would think documentation would be left but there is nothing.

BTW,as far as I'm concerned, Bix is the best connectivity system. Have used a 1A as a splice for CAT5e data line and still passes test with Fluke DX tester. Also, I can terminate 25, 50 or 100pair faster on it then using 66 or 110. GO BIX!
