I wanted to document the two steps for getting a MICS ID to order the PRi code and then to check the code that was in a ksu.
I try to leave that on file in case a box is damaged so it would not have to be purchased again.
As I remember, but don't have written down, it is:
[Feature] ** SYS ID to get the cabinet number and I forgot what it is to read the PRi code, help please.
Thanks, Bracha

You cannot read the code.
However the code can be recovered via KRS system using that same SYS ID #.

Was it just blank? what system/version?
If you just want the system id you can also get in from configuration programming.

It was a MICS 6.1
I thought it should be [Feature] * * 7 9 7 4 3 but no display, no softkeys underneath to press.
Weird things happen, I walked a guy through initializing a Toshiba and with the battery strap off and the power off and the memory card out it took two tries before it initialized. That is not supposed to be possible but I've been doing this since 1984 and I've learned that in electronics a lot of things that are impossible will happen to a tech.

"no softkeys underneath to press."
You need to use M7310 or M7324, they are the sets that have softkeys.

It was a 7316 and there were no labels to press for the keys underneath, my bad choice of words.

You could go into programming and look under software to get the system id
