I lost a bid last year to an ESI system. The customer called last week and said they have had 3 weeks of hell with that system so now they are rethinking the TDA. Down side is that I have not done VOIP yet. I am wondering if anyone may have customers my customer could contact for reference on the feature. I am looking at putting 10 IP phones at one location and the TDA at the other using a point to point T1 allready running data. If anyone could give me some help that would be great. Hope I can someday return the favor. Thanks
Stephanie

I would look closley at thier routers and other equip. From what I hear the ESI works good with proper network setup. If the network gear is not up to snuff, anything will have problems.

Routers are new upper end Cisco. I think part of their problem is they moved all phone lines to one site ( same as I planed) but at the last minute they put in 2 systems instead of IP phones at one end. They also do not have positive disconnect on their phone lines and it took their tech over 2 weeks just to tell the auto attendant to disconnect if there is no DTMF input so lines kept getting locked into a loop from voicemail. Anyway, thanks.
