I have a customer with a TVS50 and a KXTA1232. They have worked together in the past. I have the TVS up and running, however it will not answer. Any suggestions?

I also had to do a quick setup as the tvs50 was locked up saying that 98% of the flash memory was used. I checked all mboxs and erase all messages but still had a 98% flash usage. Afer doing the quick setup voice mail usase was fine with only 2% in use. I can not get the system to answer but all custom menus have been recorded and key pad functions set. I know it is somthing simple just have not worked on the vm for some time now. Your help is appreciated.

Is the red light on the TVS solid or flashing? What port on the TA1232 is this on? It's been a long time but as I recall even though the TA1232 is analog it still supported DPITS for voice mail integration. I'll check on that. MrG

IF the light is steady, what happens when you dial 165/166?

Brokeda, yes, that's true, but although the TA1232 is is an analog system it supported DPITS or inband only. Same setup as if it were a TD1232 MrG

Problem fixed thanks for the info. This was a new customer and found that they were really not using the AA as one would have guessed but they were forwarding a specific mail box to vm afer a number of rings. I did how ever find that i could not access the ksu via a laptop I do have the correct program from the panasonic tech site, but found out it does not work????? will not connect. From a phone access works well.
Once again thanks for the assistance.

If it is a Rev 1, phone only.
The Rev 2 came with a CD with the Panasonic program.
Not aware of anything beyond a Rev 2.
