Hello all,
With a Digital keybx and an emagen vm system, we have a new problem which just started. Intertmittently throughout the day, calls will completely bypass the auto attendant and ring straight to the attendant console. I checked, and there are available voice ports. Any idea what the cause could be.

Do you have all the voice ports programed in the IVM hunt group? How many port E-magen do you have? Does this happen mostly 1st thing in the morning and after lunch time?

I ask because this is when the Voicemail is most used. When people come in and after lunch to check MSG's.

Also check to make sure all trunks are program to ring the the VM hunt group.

It will only default to the att if the hunt group is busy or if they hit the night key and the ringing is rerouted to the Att.

Also call your vm ports one at a time to see if they answer, could be a port has gone bad.

Thanks for all your help. Can I simply set trunk group 9 my t1 to not return to attendant? Will this give a busy signal if no ports are available?

I'm not sure if I understood you corectly. If you are asking if you can send a busy single to the outsider caller when you voicemail is busy, then no.
I would added more voiceports to your system.

Is it a PRI or T-1?

You will have to add voiceports if you don't want it to go to the Att when Voicemail is busy.
