Need assistance in putting a cordless Toshiba handset on a 424i. I am using it in conjunction with an existing station, which has call appearances for 2 other extensions. I want the person to be able to get calls for either the base extensions or either of the 2 secondaries. The 4 function buttons emulate the first four places in the phone setup. Can I make it so they can place a call on hold and answer the second call? Thanks

pure if i'm understanding you have two buttons in addition to the primary dn on the companion to the cordless these are called secondary dn's that means they are primary dn's on two other extensions. are the other two phone,s set up the same? are they in the same co line group? the tosh cordless phones work well but you have to be careful not to reinvent the wheel. what has worked best for me is to provide pool or pools that way you preserve your buttons you only have three to work with. one is needed for intercom. if this isn't what you are looking for give me alittle more information regarding what you are trying to do. martin
