OP davetel Member Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 1,231 sbdo, ca, usa	hello again. i have a customer with a toshiba dk280. they want the toshiba cordless dk set. it is a car lot and for the sales men to use. but it rather pricy and they dont want to loose it. they asked if i can have it tied down at the locaton they need it so no one is carrying it around with them. the purpose of the thing is to have an outdoor (covered area) where they can have a phone with out having to cable for it. anyway does anyone have a recomendation for how to tie the thing down to a table with perhaps a chain or steel cord. thanks dave

I have a car dealership that had the same worry...their solution was that the cordless phones were at the Sales Managers platform and would be handed/signed out to salesmen upon request. They have had them dropped, sat on, and one actually grew legs and walked away. Point is you can take every measure possible and "Stuff still happens". If he's that concerned set him up with analog ports and EnGenius cordless sets and make each sales person sign for one financially. OBTW > they hardly ever use them anymore.
