We have 5 lines in our DK40i and it's programmed to rollover from one line to another in a continous circle. Question is, if we terminate phone service on any of these lines, what will happen when a call rolls over to a dead line? Will it roll to the next live line or do we need to program to remove those lines from the system and from the rollover? Thanks.

If you terminate lines, then your provider should remove them from your hunt group (rollover). If each one of your lines appear on buttons on your phones, then you don't necessarily have to remove them, but if users have to access an outside line by dialing 9 or another lines access code, you need to remove the lines from the line group in system programming.

Ok thanks but can you tell me what will happen if lines are dead before programming changes are made? Thanks.

If you dial '9' and the system grabs that line, you will get "dead air". No dialtone = no phone call.
