I am a complete noob to this. I was roped into it by my boss, because I'm the go to guy for computer advice. He wants his calls transferred to his extension, and then have the call forwarded to his cell. I downloaded the manual for his model, and I have the transfer call down pat, but the forwarding isn't working. I set the timer for 8 seconds, and his office phone rings 8 times, but he never gets a call. According to the manual I need to punch: Ext. button + #6033 + Dest. No. (Tone) + Timer (Tone) + #. I did that, and it didn't work. I even canceled that one, and tried entering in our dial out code of 9999 before I entered his cell number. I did not enter a one before his cell number. That just occurred to me. Putting that aside, can you see anything I am doing wrong? The box that all the calls are routed through says Strata DK 40 if that helps. We don't have an Admin for this. Do I need to be able to access something normally reserved for Admins?

Thank you for the response. I am not up on the jargon you used. Can you please explain the meaning of CO, DID, and PDN? Does this mean that what I am trying to do is not possible?

The #6033 code is for a Strata CIX system. The Strata DK system uses 3 digit call fowarding codes, plus has the limitation descibed above. The DK system is the older model. It looks like you have the wrong manual. Even if you had a CIX, you were entering the code incorrectly.
CO = Trunks or outside lines DID = Direct Inward Dialing. Doubt if you will see these on your system. PDN= Primary Directory Number. This is your extension number.
There seems to be a lot of people setting call fowarding codes and not putting a 1 in front of the area codes. I think cell phones are making people forget how to dial a regular phone.

This is the manual I was using. Is this the correct manual? Also I have been told that the cell has a local number, so I did not need to use a one. If this is not the correct manual can someone point me to the correct manual for this model please. Manual

That manual is for the Toshiba Strata CTX (current models called a CIX). As you mentioned, the box on the wall says it is a Strata DK, which is a different system. Maybe you googled the phone type and the CTX came up because the model of your phone, DKT 3020-SD, is newer and is usually connected to a CTX or CIX system. Your office likly bought a phone to add to or replace a phone in your existing system.
You would need to google a Toshiba Strata DK system next time, or the phones usully connected to it, which is a DKT 2000 series phones.
There is a Manuals link on this web page. I have not used the link myself
