I have a DK 424 system with 2 PRI's. We have 4 phantom dn's 511,512,513,514 under buttons 2-5 on all phones. We have the main d.i.d. ringing this group of phantom dn's. Ext. 300 (the phantom dn's owner ) and 305 can answer a call on these and place them on hold, where they blink. If any other station picks up the call on one of these buttons the light goes away. The call is still there, but it doesn't light under the buttons and they can place them back on hold but have no way of retrieving the call. This was working on every phone until yesterday when I deleted 6 channels off the pri. I don't see how any of the programs I entered would affect this. ( *65, *66-6, and 16 ). Reboot changes nothing. Any ideas?

If the affected phones are 10-button phones, then I would check buttons 11-20 for each affected phone in programming for trunk appearances and then remove them. What I think is happening is that the call is hopping off of the PhDN and onto a button with a trunk appearance (like a pool button).

I would second phonemeister, the only time that I have seen lights disappear is when the was a line appearance programmed somewhere else ( btn 11-20, ADM, or DSS )

They are mostly 10 button phones, so this very well could be the case. The only thing I don't understand is that I never changed any key programming.I will look at this Monday. But if anyone can think of anything else, just in case, I would appreciate it.
