I need to change the MOH to not play over the paging output. I installed emanager connected to the KSU tried to log on and the default password is not working. I tried several different default user names and passwords that I found on the net but nothing worked. Can I resest the admin password back to defalt?????
Any help would be GREAT!!!!
Thanks, Mike

Only if you log in first. Sounds like you may have to reinstall it.

You could try entering the code #493 from a phone to cancel the music.

OK Are you saying I have to log in to the phone system first to change the password? I tried a code but it turned off/on Music over the the phone that I keyed the code in to. Is that code #493? This company bought out the business (a motorcycle dealership) not that long ago so they know nothing about the phone system or who used to maintain it. The Music/Message of hold is set to play all the time on the output of the phone system over the paging system when there is no page being broadcast. I was employed to install a MESSAGE on hold (I will use MOH from here on out). I also installed a Valcom to separate the music from the MOH/paging. The problem is the MOH is always playing on the phone system page output so the Valcom cuts out the music and plays the MOH like a page till someone pages. When the page is over it goes back to the MOH. If I turn down the page output volume the Valcome will play both the MOH and the Music on top of each other at the same time with the music being louder. If I disconnect the MOH or the phone system output it starts playing the music. I was told there is a setting for this in programming but I can not log in to the admin programming to change it. I hope this is a little clearer.

The code #493 turns off MOH over the paging output. You would enter this from a phone that has permission to toggle the backgroup music over the paging output. I would try entering this code from any phne, then if that doesn't work try from the reception's extension. There would not be a default. It would be which ever extension the installer designated.
Emanager is software that runs on a PC (Not on the KSU) that connects to the PBX through the network. If you just installed emanager on a PC that has never had emanager, then the username/passcode combination would be the default. It would not matter how the Toshiba system is programmed if you haven't gone past the emanager login. Assuming you have the correct username/passcode, try capitalizing the 1st letter in the user name.
If emanager was alsready installed and username passcodes are changed from default, then you would likely have to unistall and reinstall emanager, but you would have to know some info about the PBX, such as IP address and community name (if not default).
