I have this system with a caller ID system. Recently my ID system has failed. I have caller ID coming into my location but not through the phone system. Any suggestions on how to get it back. I have a 1480-00 Caller ID Interface. Is there a battery to the system?

Have you done a reset?
Have you tested that CID is coming from the CO?

first check to see if CID is still coming in.
>connect CID device on line and check.
>conect buttset on call into system, after first ring should hear a tone then hear second ring.
>If using ISDN to POTS then check config from Telco.
>connect laptop to DB9 port setup hyperterminal to recieve see if you get any data.
