I have an NEC Elite 48 with a VMS (4) u10 etu and i am upgrading it and would like to copy the voicemail to the new one but i only have the new software and bruwin wont connect i think my old card doesn't have new enough software. Does anyone know how i can connect my computer via com1 to the card and copy all the files to my hard drive then move them to the new vms hard drive? e-mail [email protected] if you can provide help.

just a newer q version?

so you're going to a u(20) or (30) type card that is also a higher q version? if i remember right the database format is different and it doesn't copy right.
you could upgrade your current vms to the same q version and then use bru to copy the stuff to the new vm
