We have a customer who has an IPK II system with InMail. When a customer calls into auto attendant and chooses an extension most of the time it will ring the proper extension. However, sometimes it does not recognize the DTMF tones and will not select the extension. We have upgraded the firmware to v. 1.61 with no results. If anyone has any suggestions as to what would cause this problem and a fix I would really appreciate it. Thanks

What kind of trunks. Is it only from certain callers? We've found that the rise in lines served by VoIP(PRI, POTS etc.) have been the caues of many DTMF issues cropping up. Typically the carrier can fix this by setting making sure DTMF is not compressed. That will cause problems. We do alot of VoIP testing and with carriers and find that DTMF is not configured correctly the first time out.

Also, I believe NEC has an Inmail patch to help with this issue.
