It's been a really long time since I've been to any kind of telephony(ha, remember that word?) trade show, but I have some ideas and needs to ferret out and think its time to attend one again. I'm looking for one that is Voice specific, (VOIP, cellular, traditional), that all the big names attend, preferably in the Westcoast/Southwest part of the country. Any good show out there?

Thanks for the responses.
About CES, being that it is so huge, do they place voice vendors in the same area, or do you have to sift through everyone to find them.

CES has areas for each product. If you want to see everything there plan on at least 3 days.

There is IT Expo West. Not much in the way of TDM telephony but there is usually cellular and VoIP out the wazoo. I'd probably recommend it if you are looking to expand into things beyond cabling and tip/ring. There's usually a nice mix of vendors there that have products ranging from the SOHO arena up through Enterprise-level. Unless you are realllly into the keynotes that they will have, I'd just attend the exhibition hall. Based on the IT Expo's that they have here, it's a good opportunity to see what other products are out there, how they might fit into your business, and yell at the marketing and engineer types who screw stuff up. One piece of advice I can give you is try to go the first day if you can. That's the industry meet-n-greet and when all the big wigs (who wield the power) are there. In my recent experience, the best shows are put on by distriuters or manufactures. Catalyst conference is the best I'v been to. Verical is having 1 in Nov in Arz, thast looks good also. Others do the same.
As for the NATD, they are not what they used to be. Very few vendors attend any more. Too bad, that has always been one of the best.
