I have a customer that has static on one of these. I have a few spares in stock buy have no paper work on how this thing works.
My tech tells me that all six pins are being used (wired to)
Power (ok)
DTMF Port (???)
Talk Port (I assume is the analog port to the switch)
Questions I have:
Anyone have paperwork on this unit ??
I assume you need to program an extension # that it transfers to after it play the announcement, if so how do you program that extension # ??
Recording the announcement, what type of handset do I use and what is the procedure???

It’s been too many years since I’ve seen one of these, so I can’t help.
You might also try posting this in the Inter-Tel forum, as they were the manufacturer. Maybe someone there will know.

Also try the Sprint-Tadiran. I have put a few of those in but that was years ago and I did not save the paperwork.
I looked throught all my Sprint PIB's and nothing found.
One source of static could be the physical connections. I have seen some 'technicians' terminate a modular clip on jumper-wire. This method is never as good and durable as an RJ-11 jack and a base cord.
