i've got a customer that has this voicemail i could use a little minor amc help over the phone on this is there anybody out there that can help?

what sort of troubles are you having?

they have 100 series extentions and on the main greeting they have an opt 1 which transferes to another ext and so i cant dial tru to a room number til after the greeting has played at which point it works fine.

That shouldn't be a problem to fix, are you wanting to move what is currently on option 1 to another option, then record? not sure why it wont allow you to transfer at first, but then allows, sounds to me that it links to another menu after the first one plays. If you want to give me a call, or email, or better yet, if there is a modem i can dial into. Either way I could help you out.

i have an old version of VSR but you would need to take a look at option 1 and set it to call transfer, and the second prompt you would set to first key.
