Anybody ever heard of this voicemail....need to know how to reset a user's password

The passcode has to be changed through the system terminal or accessing the system via modem . You will need to know the system passcode and you can only default the passcode and then the user can change it through their mailbox options . I don't think you can change it through the admin mailbox . If you can get to system programming . Then press c for mailboxes, enter the mb number, press f1 . then arrow down to secuity code , then press z to default , then press f1 to save and exit .

when you reset a password to default... is the default password the mailbox number like most systems.... what is the default password for the terminal.. in case I can't find any documentation .

No it is not the mailbox number . Once you default it the new passcode will display on the security code entry . I don't think we are suppose to post admin mailbox numbers and system default passcodes in open forums . PM me and I will email you privately .If defalut admin mb number and security code does not work then you are pretty well locked out .

I have seen alot of people giving default passwords, admin box numbers on here.....I figured it out anyway

Glad to hear you accessed programing and changed the passcode . This is why I asked you to PM me .
Please do not post passwords or any other privileged information in the public forums. As a rule of thumb, if the information is not in the users’ or administrator’s guide, do not post it in here. If you wish to relate such information in regard to a post, you should do this by sending a private message or an email to the poster.

As admins if we catch it we will edit the password out. We always ask if your going give out a password please do it via PM or email.
