5years, your mailbox is full.
In reply:
Part of PRI specs is transport of CID name and number. This is not the case with a T1 which only transports the CID number.
The DX-120 with PRI shows the CID name on the display if available. If not then it shows the number just like it does on copper lines.
Some providers charge extra for this feature. Insure that CID name/number is provided.
I now have 7 DX PRI's and it works quite well.

Do you have any that are fractionals, or split circuits (x number of channels of voice, the rest data)?
Thanks for replying on here, since my box is full (heading over now to clean it out some).

But all are PRI, is what I'm gathering. In another thread you had made mention of an upgrade for the T1, and asked me to follow up after asking tech support. I may have stumbled across an answer, but probably won't know until tomorrow, when I hear back from someone at Vertical. It sounds like it may be a fix for a problem that's specific to the T1 configuration, where the problem may not be occurring on the PRI configuration. If that's the case, that may be why my site is experiencing problems and your sites are not.

We will not sell any T1 on any system. I have found that PRI circuits seem to be much easier to configure with much less problems. Also PRI circuits tend to completely fail if the circuit isn't virtually perfect.
Our local CLEC that we use quite often calls us up before the customer knows anything about it when they are seeing problems with the PRI circuit. :thumb:
Another nice thing about PRI is you don't have to deal with CID wait time or the delay for decoding DNIS routing. Since all of this info is carried on the D channel it's virtually instant.

PS: Let me know what problems you are experiencing and what Vertical's response is.

Did you end up doing the upgrade for any of your T1 cards?
