I know this sounds lame but I cannot re-record the Main Greeting. I am at the front desk go into admin mode (trnsfr 200) but then I am stuck - I read the whole manual, nothing. I seem to be able to record it at all different places but when I check the main number up comes the old message. We have changed out hours and I have at least one unhappy customer who came when we werent here. I think i just need the transfer code (number for changing the main message) Thanks for any help

Changing the main greeting isn't accessed by the transfer codes. It is by logging into the voicemail. Like cracker said what system and what voicemail?

This assumes you have the svmi. SVMi's Administration MB is "0000" Press the VM MSG button on your telephone then press * #0000 Press pass code xxxx Press 1 for system prompts - 1001 for day message 1002 for night message 1003 for Holiday message
This also assumes you are using the default prompts.
