Eh?

OfficeServ 7100 v4.60

I go to VMAA / Voice Studio / Prompt

I made a mix with Message Studio and saved as an MP3 and converted it to a .wav file. It's only one minute long. The I named it 5000.wav and it plays normally on my PC.

When I upload it to the 7100 and play the voice prompt it's this creepy halloween music playing in slow motion and the "Please hold" is "bbbbbbrrrreeeeeeeeeeessssssssse.....bbuuurrrrrriiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggaaaaa....."

What up wit dat?

Samsung documentation sucks. argue

I actually load a generic, pure .wav file and I hear all white noise when I log into voicemail and play the prompt.

Thanks Lacota!

That did it!

I had to spend quite a bit of Google time and a couple different programs but I found Blaze Audio Pro (free trial for 15 days) that could convert my wav file to an 8khz 16bit file.

Hi Nameless,

I downloaded Switch (I think it's the same one?). Now I'm trying to upload a .729 file to an older MP10.

I can't seem to find a compatible CODEC or program to convert anything to a usable .729 format.

What program do you use or what are your settings?

Switch doesn't do g729 (sorry i was going off memory), i ended up buying a program called smart audio converter which will do everything.

You can also try this site if you don't have a lot of files to convert
