For some reason, what they do is run one cable from the EMTA to a box outside, then run a cable inside the house to wherever the IW connects...I have never seen this type of box anywhere BUT on cable tv phone installs, it's made by Arris I think.

I think I swiped it from a system we took out and replaced with a 5000...I have a pile of blocks at home smile
