I have a problem that I suspect has a simple solution. When the phone system is in night mode it does not ring, it goes to the night voice mail box. This started a few weeks ago, before that it would ring several times throughout the building before it went to voice mail. I have the Adix Programmer V3.2 software but I do not understand most of the features in it. Can anyone tell me how I can make the phone ring before it goes to voice mail when night mode is on?
Thanks in advance, Russ

If this just suddenly started happening, check the phone associated with the night mailbox, perhaps the attendant phone, and make sure it isn't set to Do Not Disturb (HOLD button lit). If this is the case, just press the HOLD button to cancel DND.
If this isn't the case, can you tell us which software version your phone system is using, and a general idea of how things ring during the day as opposed to night ringing?
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

This did suddenly happen. The phone associated with the night mailbox is the attendant phone and the Do Not Disturb button is not on. As to the software version, I assume you are talking about the Adix Software Version 6.20. During the day, the receptionist is answering the phone and at 5:00 PM the phone system goes into night mode. This is when it no longer rings.

Couple of things. 1.check 10.73#1 Fix call fwd make sure it is n/a. 2.Make sure the only phone ringing in night mode on all lines. 3.Make sure the v-mail hunt group did not get put in 11.34 in the night mode on all lines. 4.check 11.33 delayed ringing see if something was oe there. 5.check your error log and see if there are any heap errors that level had issues. Also look for database distroyed. 6.You need to get your software level to 6.31.Not to say that what you have will not work. there was some issue you need to be aware of!!

I'm assuming you tried a reset first. Same as a computer, always try that before any thing else :p
Second thing is to remove the Night key and then reprogram it. Make sure the attendant phone you are programming is not in use (or just unplug it) as you are doing this.
If it still doesn't work, check 11.34 DIL to Hunt settings. Make sure it's 0 for ringing stations. I don't know how this could possibly have been accidentally changed, but funkier things have happened.
Let me know if any of this has been helpful.
