To clear the Minor Alarm:

From an attendant's station, press ICM, FEAT, # , 7

After the phone beeps 3 times, press the SPKR key.

Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

You MUST do it from the attendant (main) phone. You can't just pick any phone to do this, and it MUST be on intercom dial tone, not on an outside line.

To verify an attendant phone, when the phone is idle, with the handset in the cradle, press FEAT, 99. The display will show something like this:

EXT 001 201s

The small 's' indicates a simple attendant.

Pressing the ICM button first should send you to intercom dial tone over the speaker, so after you dial the FEAT, pound sign, 7 the 3 beeps you hear indicate the system has acknowledged your input.

A minor alarm really is just that- a minor alarm. It won't affect how the system operates. It just means some data calculation or other came up with an unexpected result in the processor, or SMDR data failed to download properly. It's more annoying than anything else.

If you REALLY can't stand it, reset the phone system.
