you have to know the admin mailbox number and password, you should be able to get this information from the people who installed the system. If that information is not available you may have to go into off line programing and set up a second admin mailbox and us it for on line programing. or you could from the off line programing delete the mailbox that needs to be reset and then add it back, the system then would give you a password for that mailbox.

if you can log into the system admin mailbox then you are able to reset a mailbox password. Once you've logged into system admin, it should be option 3(mailbox admin), option 1(reset mailbox access code) you will be prompted to dial the mailbox and then enter the new access code.

Can someone send the docs on the voicemail system? I don't know what the default admin mailbox number or code is. Mike Florrence from this board is the one that setup, but I cannot get him to respond with any details on this install...

THanks

Step 1. From any Executone phone dial 436. (handset down; phone idle)

Step 2. While listening to recording press #.

Step 3. Enter mailbox 5000 when prompted by the system.

Step 4. Enter (Password) when prompted for access code. (this access code is located on the bottom of the voicemail keyboard.)

Step 5. Press 3 from the main menu. (mailbox administration)

Step 6. To reset Voicemail System Password press 1 - Follow Prompts.

No passwords in the general forums please

Use the MAT cable from your MATworX laptop, and connect to the AD-8. Use CoSessions to initiate file transfer mode.

Obtain a file named AVENT.AVD.

Email this file to NTAC, along with a signed letter, on letterhead, from the owner of the system, stating that it is okay to give you the system password. Pay NTAC $150.

Receive the password by return email.

Log in and default the system.
