We have implemented a click to dial solution for the Financial Planning Industry using FPS www.fpsplans.com and the Allworx TAPI driver. I'm posting this as a way to inform others that Allworx TAPI driver and FPS CRM software are (click to dial) compliant.

We also just did no integration of Allworx and Hawksoft.

Step 1:
Follow Allworx procedure to install the TAPI driver.
Step 2: From Windows>Start>Run enter "dialer" in the run command Click on edit>options select the Allworx TAPI driver that you just installed.
This implementation works for outbound dialing only.
If inbound Caller ID lookup is need you would need to:
A: have hawksoft hook into a different dialer such as www.phonedialerpro.com
B: Set hawksoft lookup to run when a call comes in following instructions here https://hawksoftinc.helpserve.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=346

an added note for Hawksoft is that the dialer that ships Windows XP does not work. Hawksoft is not able to follow the dialing rules of the older dialer.

An update to Hawksoft and Allworx Interact. The CMD shell function of Interact works well with Hawksoft. It allows a screen pop directly to the customer screen where the caller ID matches.
1) Make sure to set the home area code in Interact.
2) Enter the following command shell script
H:\haw\CMSSCREENPOP.EXE /PHONE:"%CALLNUM%" /LOGIN:username /PASSWORD:userspassword /LAUNCH is the script for a completely automated screen pop
H:\haw\CMSSCREENPOP.EXE /PHONE:"%CALLNUM%" /LOGIN:username /PASSWORD:userspassword is the script for a partially automated screen pop.
