Hey Guys- Good afternoon-

Working with an ESI 100- with a SIP trunk card- I originally hooked this up direct to our modem, using a public IP address, and when a call came in- I could see the caller ID- but when I pick up the phone, dead air, same as an outgoing call- dead air- ESI said to try to put it behind a router, did that- same thing- SIP Provider (Clearfly) says they cannot see the call trying to even go out the system, and they are getting an internal error- ESI verified all settings on the SIP card are correct and should be working- any thoughts?? Settings that might need changed??

Thanks

get a wire shark monitor on it. that's the only way you're going to know what is coming out of the card.

I have several ESI Systems using Clearfly and all work very good.
I would be glad to help if you can't get satisfaction from ESI.

awesome- thanks Paulat0TI, The entire system is back with ESI now-
Have you connected it directly to a modem, or did you use a router- I was under the impression you could just hook it up to the modem, and ESI said we had to get a router, bought the router, same exact issue was going on-

Update on this, esi upgraded the system an the firmware of the sip card, got the system back, incoming calls were perfect, still nothing on outgoing calls, got clearfly, esi and cox (isp) and still no go, found out it was a dns error, cox could not reslove to peer.cfly.co. Put im the ip addy and it worked like a champ
