I have DataView running on my local server and would like to run reports.
1. When I log onto the the Dataview file via : https://192.168.0.1/DataView, it opens the LOGON page.
2. I input user ID: admin password: samsung OK. The web browser gives me the attached response and fails to go onto the main application homepage.

Yes,

You have to go into Windows Admin Tools and turn on and allow and share out all your IIS stuff. You should see an item under IIS called Dataview.

Basically you don't have the Windows IIS server turned on and configured.

I can't remember off the top of my head all that was in there and it was kind of a pain but that's what's missing. If you're able to call Samsung Tech Support they should be able to walk you through it.

There's not much in the DataView manual but if you have a copy of the EasySet manual the instructions would be the same. If you'd like a copy of the EasySet manual just email me at [email protected]

Also sounds like a permission problem.

At the end of the dataview setup it tells you to change the permissions on 3 folders.
If you don't do this it won't work.

Also as KaiserBügeleißen said, depending on your dataview server OS and whether its 32 or 64bit there are some settings that need changing in IIS.

Check out the trouble shooting section of the dataview manual i think its all in there.
