hi, i just switched over from at&t to comcast and the tech some how messed up my phone system. i have a 55 unit motel and the mail consol will not allow me to dial out. my fax/cc machine line and one other line is fine but the main line associated with the sx50 console will not let me dial out. can anyone please help

I suspect that you had ground start trunks and the new ones are loop start. I don't think you can get ground start trunks from CATV providers, so you'll probably need a qualified technician to modify the SX50 to function with loop start lines. Note that loop start lines are not recommended in a hotel/motel environment.

Fax lines are always loop start, hence the reason that you aren't having any trouble with it.

Every cut for Time Warner and Comcast I've been told they tell you to get your phone technician involved. Did you skip that part?

Expect to pay a larger fee for service, just because you now created an emergency service call.
