Hi all,
We just added a DKSC16 card to our 5.0 Axxess system. The new extentions were created and connected fine. We added the new extentions to the Day in group. For some reason I can't get the phones to ring when a CO call comes in. Volume is up, Ring cadence is Ok, DND is off, LED's all show as correct. We also have another extention set on a different card that I removed from the Day ring in Group last year. All extentions would ring when an inbound call would come in. Removing this kept the LED's lighting up, but removed the ring. I have tried adding this back into the group with no luck. Any thoughts as to what I might be missing? I do need these phones to ring. Thanks for any help. Tom

Hi pond182. Welcome to the board. I'm a little fuzzy on part of this. If I cover something you already know, please don't be offended. First, on the ring in, you said you added them to the "Day in group." Trunk groups have Ring In, Dial Out, and Allowed Answer Settings. The extensions that are allowed to do any of these functions have to be added and there is a Day and Night for each of those. Also, instead of specifying specific extensions in these areas, often times each of these areas will have the number of an "Extension Group." If that is how you are programmed, then the new extensions should be added to the group. On the other issue, if I'm understanding you correctly, you no longer have a ring in, but the LEDs are lighting when a call comes in. If that is the case, it sounds like you removed the phone that had ring in privileges and the others have Allowed Answer which is why they light. If you can give us some more details we'll try to point you in the right direction.

OK, some more details now that I'm back at the site. Inter-tel axxess version 4.2.
Are system is configured with:
(1) DKSC 8 port card (2) DKSC 16 port cards (3) LSC CO cards, only 7 incoming co's used
We do not use a Day or night mode. All phones have the (7)CO lines assigned to buttons on the phone. All phones have been assigned to the same trunk group. In that trunk group there is the following: Day ring-in: Under Answer access, all extentions are listed. Under Program, I have "Call Routing" selected.
Under the Call routing day menu, Destinations are as follows: Trunk # 2007 - Hunt Group - Day in stations.Members include P001, and 2508. P001 is an extention list assignment that includes the phones I need to ring. 2508 in a VM extention. No ext. are assigned to this. The next two follow. 100 - Receptionist 2508 - VM.
So, where else can I look? Do I need to start from scratch?
Thanks for the help.
Tom

When you call hunt group 2007, do the fones ring? If not check the 'Hunt Group Remove/Replace station flag to be sure they are not 'removed' from the hunt group. How many fones are in the P001 extension list? There is a limit on how many fones will ring at once.

Had to leave the site today before I could check the ringing. We currently have 30 phones in use, with 18 of them ringing, we looking to change this to 24 of them ringing. I believe the ring limit is 32?
thanks, Tom
