As I say in the title, my SV8500, when receiving an incoming DID call, shows my own extensnon (and my own name display as assigned by ANDD) on my phones's LCD screen, instead of the caller's caller ID. It's been like this for about 3 years now, but I don't remember if it worked before that. This is on DT700 IP phones. When the caller calls the automated attendant (which is an AD64), and then the caller punches in the desired extension number, the auto attendant transfers. Then the called person first sees an incoming call being transferred by the Auto Attendant and within a second, the correct caller ID shows up. The problem exists on direct DID calls. I played around with ASYD Index 390, but I couldn't get any improvement. Any ideas?

i dont have enough experince
did you make any incoming digit conversation on the system ?
check this command if you direct number is 6460290
ACDD : RT=your route No DC=0290 CDC= 1000 (ext No )
DC must match CDN66 on the ARTD command for your route
for connected line presentation calling station number is automatically converted back to 0290 show in dispaly caller

This looks very promising. I'll check it next time I get to sit down in front of the system. Something I never tried before.

In trying to figure this out, I need something clarified about your answer, MohammadJaffai. The call actually comes in on a 2400ICS, via a PRI. Then it does a digit translation by the ACDD command. CDC (the extension number) may be a 5-digit, or a 6-digit extension. Then, some calls terminate in the 2400ICS, but some gets relayed to a CCIS route to go the the SV8500. If the call gets terminated within the 2400ICS, the caller ID of the caller is always perfect. When the call gets relayed to the SV8500 via CCIS, then I lose caller ID. So which route's ARTD do I need to look at? The incoming route for the ICS2400? Or the outgoing CCIS route on the ICS2400? Or the incoming CCIS route of the 8500?

It appears to have something to do with how the information is displayed on the DT700. I programmed one of the softkeys to be the "PEEK" button. When there is an incoming DID call, my phone shows my own extension and my own name as assigned in ANDD. However, when I press the PEEK softkey, while the incoming call is ringing, voila! There is the caller ID. When I answer the incoming call, the caller ID shows up in SMDR correctly. In call-history of the phone itself, it doesn't show the caller ID. It shows my own number... Weird. I have OAI, and there are some ASYD bits having to do with OAI name display blah-blah-blah, but I could not get it to work, no matter what I was messing around with with any bits that have anything to do with caller ID display.

The problem is finally resolved. SFI 202 was turned on (1), and after changing it to 0 to restrict, the caller ID now shows up fine on DID calls! Thanks for all the input though.
