Have a customer that whants to set up a remote phone. We have done this for them before, but we changed out routers for a different reason recently, so we plig in all of the port forwarding info for the firewall, and test the phone. The phone conncets but there is no voice either inbound or outbound.

Go look at Samsung settings they are correct. Look at firewall settings, they are correct. Put phone in DMZ in our firewall so no port blocking, same result.

The phone is doing something I have not seen before. In the DM tool under ITP status,(6.2.2) every IP phone has a signal port of 6000 and a voice port of 9000. My remote phone has a signal port of 38989 and a voice port of 9000, and the signal port will change each time the phine is reset. We have other remote phones that work, so i dont think it is the system, any ideas what else it could be?

Sounds like a remote router issue blocking speech ports. Open Mgi and MPS ports on remote router if this fails try the Phone (if possible) from a remote working destination.
