Client has a iDCS 500 w a SVMi8-E. He wants to set up a mail box that will play directions to his location.. I have set-up the mailbox (377) and recorded the message as ANNOUNCE ONLY.
The problem is when the receptionist transfers a called to the mailbox, it plays a message of "Im sorry your party's not available...). Client does not want that to play, just go straight to the mail box and the hear the directions.

Any ideas how to do this????

Put an entry in the forward station/forward trunk menu's for that mailbox number to goto the mailbox.

There is a way to make an extension annouce only but i have no idea as we only use mailboxes (we remove the srch ext entries)

You can delete those prompts from that users eclass block to get rid of them.
