Trying to connect an external ringer to the Toshiba IP5132 series phones. Anybody familiar with the external speaker plug and pinout? I would assume the BESCB1A probably has the correct plug, but I'm trying to connect to an existing Viking amplifier and horn.
Thanks.

I have tapped the speaker feed on an IP set before and it has done the job.

I noticed the Ext Spkr port on the 5000 series phones as well but never saw any connecters offered for it. So soldering cross connect wire to the speaker terminal has been my routine as well.

Same here. We set up a dedicated used 3000 series phone just for overhead paging. It works great.
