We replaced the ancient Legend "Large" processor that was corrupt with a newer one that had backup.

Everything is perfect EXCEPT the buttons on the owner's phone (Isn't that normal?)

Previously he had first off hook on the second button SA Voice and he had a headset button that was lit up.

He would lift the 9120 headset out of the cradle and get SA voice dial tone.

Without the headset button lit, he can go off hook on speaker or handset and it works fine. When we turn on the headset button, the SA voice light goes out.

Can you tell me exactly what we need to do so he had have his normally lit headset button (which setting) and go off hook when he pulls the headset out of the cradle.

Thanks so much, Bracha Sarah

needed to add once you program HS status ( green light on ) you do not need to remove handset, you just turn on your headset, and use hang up to cancel call, you must have a Hangup Button to work correctly on MLX phones

I am pretty sure we had both buttons on his phone.

If he turns off the headset button with the green light, his off hook selection is perfect on handset or speaker phone.

If he turns on the headset button so the green light is on, there is no off hook selection, he has to press a button.

He says off hook selection worked perfectly by having the green light headset button on and just picking up the GN9120 headset.

I can see Monday if both buttons are on the phone but I am very sure they are.

Thanks, Bracha
