The past 2 weeks in central Pa, plenty of storms. sts with porta system protectors on co.s. xts with itwup3p.Both protectors did not blow but hung up the co lines. Remove protectors put back in all lines ok. No harm done to any co ports. I thought the protectors would blow rather then hand open the lines ??? Thanks Gary S

Porta system modules usually short to ground when a charge activates them. Sounds like they protected your system ports.
