Hello Everyone,
First i like to apologize for the noob questions and thank anyone who can help me out. I am a systems administrator very good with networks, windows, vmware and so on but a total noob when it comes to telecommunication systems.
Ok so what i would like to do is link our Lync server with our 7200S. The idea is for users to make calls to the outside and users from the outside to dial in to lync conferences.
So far i have got one MGI license and one SIP License, i manage to get the system to works as follows:
Users can only call full DID numbers and if they ring outside number it goes to reception. Now i understand i need to do something with the DID table to direct to outside but i have no idea how to do that, on our normal phone we just dial 9 to reach the outside i am assuming it's going out of the Tepri card?
Could you guy's help this noob on how to direct the DID and how i can direct the coming in calls to let's say number 801429 to go to the Lync server.
I am also assuming i have to add the lync server as sip carrier but everything i do doesn't work.
Bellow are the cards and a sample from the did table.
Regards, Luben

Never attempted to set it up manually but Samsung Xchange has a Lync Gateway that does what you're looking for. Xchange Gateway for Lync

Hello Genesiscomm, Thank you very much for the reply, i was offered that option by our supplier unfortunately it cost **** pounds just for the exchange gateway and to implemented it would cost us around **** pounds with all the needed hardware and licenses. We also don't need most of the features like controlling our headsets, we just need simple call in and out which is partly working. I saw some threads on this form that briefly explain how it's done but unfortunately with my limited knowledge i could not implement it. threads like this one where nalesss comented on them: https://sundance-communications.com...cs/562499/Using_Samsung_Officeserv_7200S

There are 2 modes in which the samsung os7000 and MS Lync can be used together.
RCC Gateway for which you need samsung Xchange. or Enterprise Voice.
You are looking for the enterprise voice method where the samsung is used as a sip gateway for the MS Lync Clients.
You will need to make sure you have 4.63 or higher on your system.
I think i have some doco from my client install i can send you if you want. Just send me a PM with your email
