For those who have a professional labler, like to hear how well it works. If you have sent it in for repair and the typical repair cost.

The only ones that I know of that work well for cable is the Rhino and the brother pt 7000 in this vidio.


Can the brother print one long strip of port numbers for the patch panel?

These Brother printers are new to this side of cable labeling. I have used a pt2610 for years and recently purchased the Rhino 6000 Hard Case. I went with it because of it's long history and the various type of labels available. The Brother I believe still uses the TZ series of laminated labels that I have found to not last very long (talking a couple of months) before delaminating.

To answer your question, I not 100% sure, but I believe they can print long labels for patch panels, but you have to format them yourself. The Rhino series has been around long enough that most Patch Panel manufacturers supply a template for their Patch Panels which makes creating a label very easy.

came across youtube on this brother cable labler. nice. Now, can it print a continious label that stretches across the entire length of a patch panel?
