In a complex we have SV8300 system with 500 IP telephones.the phones are connected in different switches by same VLAN. now the problem is while making calls there is no sound from caller side some times.
network set up :- from core switch to remote switch fiber link.
in the remote 48 port switch 1 to 24 ports using for data with VLAN 2, 25 to 48 ports are in Voice VLAN1 using for telephone.
some one have any suggestion please help.

Sounds like a problem with RTP ports being blocked but I'm no IP expert.
