Picked this stuff up today because they had the familiar 310 plugs on em. Also have a patch bay with the WE style coax plugs. My question, is it out of a CO or something else? The cords plug detail: The patch bay, the VTR labels make me think TV station maybe? back of patch bay, and detail of a plug: I've seen those WE style plugs in the patch panel on telecom test gear, that's what made me think of central office video link or something.

Older CO test equipment such as T-Berds and Sages use those types of cables.

Will,
a lot of test equipment, right on up through T1 test sets, used 310 and/or 309 plugs, or some other version of the smaller sized "switchboard" style plug [the 309 plug was one of several smaller type plugs that became popular as things got smaller and density got higher].
The one that says PJ-051R is actually a Military plug, I think it is more-or-less identical to a 310.
The coax connectors appear to be what are often called WECO connectors. They also come in different sizes, and have numbers like 358A, 440, mini-440, etc. I have seen them used for DS3 connections and also for video patching. The WECO to BNC connectors on the back are probably just adapters, but they could be attenuators. WECO connectors are also seen on test sets.
As far as where this stuff came from, a CO is one possibility, or an AT&T Long Lines station, or even a Military base. It could also have come from a TV station or CATV office. Are there any stickers or property tags anywhere on the patch panel?
Nice find, by the way!

PS Just to complicate things a little, I think the WECO connectors are 75 ohm, so the WECO/BNC adapters are probably 75 ohm BNC, which are a different animal from the far more common 50 ohm BNC.

A correction/addendum:
After finally finding an old catalog, I see that ADC used the PJ-xxx part numbers on their plugs. So that may not be a Military plug.

The plugs in the first two pictures can be used with T1 Sage and T-Berd test sets such as the T-Berd 209, 211, 224 and 310. The 310 also supports WECO and, in some cases, BNC connectors.

The patch panel doesn't have property tags, says "Trompeter Electronics type 1505-0108" then 78k05879-060 SN0076, no attenuators, just TNC to BNC adapters on the back. has this stamp which says 1939, looks kind of like Signal Corps markings I've seen. the whole panel is 19", I was told most CO stuff was 23" or something Stamp:

can anyone ID that stamp in my previous post? Looks like an eagle, possibly with an anchor and clutching arrows. Navy perhaps?
