I have a situation where a customer wants a strobe light to indicate incoming calls to a digital station. My proposed solution is to put the strobe (line powered) on an analog station port. A call coverage button with immediate ringing will then be placed on the digital set for this analog station's extension. Even though the digital set will have a different extension number, all calls will just be made to the analog station.

That part makes sense to me, however I can't find documentation for activating SLT call coverage anywhere. Not in the manual, not in the user's guide. Nowhere. My guess is that at the analog station, you dial 563 + 45, but I think that there's more to it than that. Any ideas?

I needed to create a slt coverage button on a digital set as well. 563 45 seems to be the right code, however I couldn't make it work because the slt and the digital set are members of the same ring all hunt group and call coverage is ignored for hunt group members. Which brings me to my suggestion...put the analog phone and the digital set in a ring all station group if you can't get the call coverage to work.

update: An slt port is really more of a virtual station so I think you have to plug in a digital set if I read the following correctly:

There is only one way to access and turn on the allow Call Coverage feature. It has to be done on the Covered Phone. If it is a virtual station plug in a phone and turn on the feature and remove the phone.
To Turn on Call Coverage (Allow a Station to be Covered) on the Covered Station
1.
Press PGM
2.
Dial 45 (Code for Call Coverage)
3.
Dial 1 (Mode)
4.
Dial 1 (On)
5.
Save
6.
Press PGM
7.
Dial 45
8.
Dial 2 (Ring Delay)
9.
Dial 1 (Number of Rings Before Covering Station Begins Ringing)
10.
Save
