Had a call about No Dial tone on lines 1-4. All POTS. Checked all connections and seemed ok. Checked Demarc ok as well. Reset the unit and is working now. This is the 2nd time in about 2 months it has done this. Can not find out why the lines are locking up. Any ideas?

You need to check the connection status to see what the system thinks is happening with the lines at the time.
You could probably try a forced trunk release to clear the lines (or port clear as DM calls it)

What we need to know is what happens when you say no dial tone. When this happens is the line lit up as in use or can you pick up the line and there is no dial tone there?
Have you tried a different trunk card or different ports on a trunk card? When it happens is it all lines or do some work?

nameless - I'll try that
pvj - No lines are lit, when you press any line button, display reads BUSY. Tried a different Trunk Card, same thing. Tried different ports, same All Lines
I've had Telco to check their disconnect release timer also
