I need some Help on how to program my Analog stations to give a busy tone to the next caller to call the DID programed for that analog station. I have a 10 channel PRI card for both Incoming and outgoing calls and this is the only trunk card I am using. ILG 5 and OLG 2 is my current groups. The problem is when analog extension/DID 1726 is first answered on a call or busy the next call to that same DID or analog extension just rings no answer and I need to get a busy signal from this port when its on a call. Any suggestions??

You will need to set up the Call by Call feature on the PRI.

If you have access to the Toshiba FYI site it is article #1342 in the knowledgebase. Goes step by step on what needs to be done.

Thanks for the tip Meyery2k but I don't have access to Toshiba FYI. Could someone who knows this procedure contact me give me the instructions on what programs I need to make changes in. I am pretty familiar with all other programs but this call by call programing. Thank you.

It's not that difficult.

Set up an extra ILG/OLG for the fax...

First go to ISDN PRI, and change the incoming and outgoing line groups to '0'.

Then go to the 'Call by Call', and create different groups... your first group might be your regular PRI with 23 channels on your original ILG/OLG.

Then your second one would be on the newly created ILG/OLG for your fax, and would list only 1 "max calls".

Make sure you create another LCR group just for the fax, and send it out the new OLG... and in your DID table, make sure that your fax number is on the new ILG.

That's off the top of my head, I'm sure someone will jump in and correct me if I've made any mistakes! smile

This same procedure is also how you'd set up to Caller ID the lines differently (Trunks/Calling Number) via OLG groups...
